For the Cisco corporate social media team, it wasn’t enough to engage their Twitter audiences and offer champion customer service. They wanted more. To entertain. To inspire. To build a genuine @HeyCisco community.
As Cisco’s creative arm, we knew just how to lend a hand.
Our work began with a visual rebrand. Why? We wanted to make Cisco’s core values—authenticity, daring, and a commitment to customer success—identifiable at a glance.
In close collaboration with the team, we developed a revamped visual identity that featured clean lines, simple typography, and bold colors.
With the look updated, we moved onto the next phase: bringing some extra pep to @HeyCisco’s personality and boosting the team’s already successful content strategy.
We energized the tone with an extra dose of enthusiasm and a bit of whimsy. And when it came to content strategy, we decided to incorporate a balanced mix of original content and compelling third-party articles.
We also reached out to the right influencers at the right time, seeking out 10 engagement opportunities each week.
@HeyCisco saw an impressive amount of growth over four months, increasing its follower count by 10.4%.
