Celebrating FlexPod’s 10 years of innovation with an amazing integrated campaign
Ten years as the most trusted data center architecture. Ten years of a strong partnership between Cisco and NetApp. Ten years of innovation. It’s well worth celebrating—so that’s what we helped FlexPod do.
It began with an eye-catching infographic, but it turned into a cohesive integrated marketing campaign featuring gorgeous illustrated content that built awareness and resonated with the audience—even several months into the celebration. That’s no small feat, especially with a tech audience that doesn’t like being marketed to.
THE 10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY INFOGRAPHIC AND EXPERIENTIAL WALL
For its 10th birthday, FlexPod asked us to create an infographic to showcase its key milestones. How could we say no to a birthday request?
We then leveraged this well-received infographic to create a fun experiential wall for FlexPod at Cisco Live Europe. Our event staff interviewed attendees in front of it and invited people to write their FlexPod stories on it, then we used this content for additional social reach. (Nothing like getting the most bang for your buck, right?)
KEEPING THE CELEBRATION GOING WITH MORE IMAGINATIVE CONTENT
A few months later, FlexPod told us they wanted to keep the 10-year festivities going.
They asked: What could we do?
Here’s what: Build a cohesive, thoughtful integrated marketing strategy for a 10-week flight. Include gorgeous static social assets and animated social stories. Add videos, video frame templates, and web banners. Oh, and top it off with a direct mailer kit that’s sure to make customers smile. The campaign content featured celebratory dreamscapes and compelling headlines that tapped into the theme—and the audience’s imagination. We also included little FlexPod logo Easter eggs for fun.
