Cruella
Brilliant, bad,
and a little bit mad:
A sinfully stylish showcase for the most fashionable Disney villain.
Our advertising campaign for Disney’s release of Cruella on Digital and Blu-ray was just like the film’s notorious villain: It wasn’t afraid to make a statement.
From glamorous sustainable fashion and fabulous drag to adorable dogs and handcrafted chocolate creations, we served social media Cruella—with our own personal flair. The results? Smashing—for both the film and our creative shop. (We won a Clio for this campaign!)
Taking fans on a magical journey into Strange World
When Strange World was set to be released on Digital and Blu-ray, Disney asked us to raise awareness and interest for the film. After exploring the possibilities with the marketing, publicity, and PR teams, we mapped out a magical journey that invited people to step into the animated feature’s beautiful, thought-provoking world.
Our beats included an immersive museum takeover (yes, please to themed activations and world-building!), playful branded and creator social content, and an adorable flipbook shown on social and added to influencers’ event goodie bags. Our integrated campaign shared the film’s awe-inspiring visuals, spotlighted loveable characters like Splat and Legend, and (best of all) brought families together. Within the campaign’s first week, our client reached their business goals.
Creators Channeling
Their Inner Cruella
To inspire fans to watch the film at home, our creators showed off their takes on Cruella. Their looks were brilliant, darling.

The Strange World
museum takeover
While working closely with Publicity and PR to get influencer and press coverage, we helped transform the Cayton Children’s Museum into an immersive, magical experience. Our team created Splat’s Space (slime included), a science-themed ball pit, a photo op with the Clades, a wishing wall, and more.
A flippin’ adventure
This was an artist collab dream come true! The Flippist’s flipbook was a hit on social, and we also surprised influencers at the Cayton takeover with their own signed copy.
Cruella’s Costumes
Turned Devilishly Delicious
Working with a chocolate craftsman, we created miniature versions of two of Cruella’s iconic costumes. These masterpieces were shared on social (including by Disney Eats!) and featured in a branded mailer we made for influencers and media outlets, which got a lot of attention. This chocolate couture even influenced Project Runway’s Nick Verreos to share his own Cruella-inspired design!
