Brilliant, bad,
and a little bit mad:
A sinfully stylish showcase for the most fashionable Disney villain.
Our advertising campaign for Disney’s release of Cruella on Digital and Blu-ray was just like the film’s notorious villain: It wasn’t afraid to make a statement.
From glamorous sustainable fashion and fabulous drag to adorable dogs and handcrafted chocolate creations, we served social media Cruella—with our own personal flair. The results? Smashing—for both the film and our creative shop. (We won a Clio for this campaign!)
Our Turning Red social campaign: Full of joy and heart
For Disney and Pixar’s coming-of-age film Turning Red, we drove engagement and in-home purchases with fun, heartwarming social moments tied to its theme of Mei finding a way to honor her Asian heritage while also feeling free to unleash her wild side.
Using a mix of creator and branded content on TikTok and Instagram, we tapped into the love that comes with making traditional dumplings, and—of course—lots of swoon-worthy boy band dancing that hooked fans from the first beat.
Creators Channeling
Their Inner Cruella
To inspire fans to watch the film at home, our creators showed off their takes on Cruella. Their looks were brilliant, darling.

4*Town 4eva
Our content for the film’s official Instagram channel tuned into Mei’s love for the boy band 4*Town…and, um, her father’s, too.
Next Stop:
More engaging content
On Pixar’s YouTube channel, we extended a lighthearted film moment with our “sleep machine” video, letting fans catch some zzz’s with Sox and Buzz…for 7.5 hours! We also created an interactive social post that let people finish Buzz’s beloved catchphrase.
Cruella’s Costumes
Turned Devilishly Delicious
Working with a chocolate craftsman, we created miniature versions of two of Cruella’s iconic costumes. These masterpieces were shared on social (including by Disney Eats!) and featured in a branded mailer we made for influencers and media outlets, which got a lot of attention. This chocolate couture even influenced Project Runway’s Nick Verreos to share his own Cruella-inspired design!

A dancing duo & delicious dumplings
We got choreography duo Cost n’ Mayor to create a super-cute POV piece for one of the film’s boy band tunes, with fans rushing to join in. We also had Tiffy Cooks whip up delectable dumplings from an old family recipe as she shared what the movie meant to her.
