Our Turning Red social campaign: Full of joy and heart
For Disney and Pixar’s coming-of-age film Turning Red, we drove engagement and in-home purchases with fun, heartwarming social moments tied to its theme of Mei finding a way to honor her Asian heritage while also feeling free to unleash her wild side.
Using a mix of creator and branded content on TikTok and Instagram, we tapped into the love that comes with making traditional dumplings, and—of course—lots of swoon-worthy boy band dancing that hooked fans from the first beat.
Our content for the film’s official Instagram channel tuned into Mei’s love for the boy band 4*Town…and, um, her father’s, too.
A DANCING DUO & DELICIOUS DUMPLINGS
We got choreography duo Cost n’ Mayor to create a super-cute POV piece for one of the film’s boy band tunes, with fans rushing to join in.We also had Tiffy Cooks whip up delectable dumplings from an old family recipe as she shared what the movie meant to her.
